What can I say?! When it rains it pours! Not everything went according to plan this weekend. I planned on having a very exciting weekend update for you yesterday and then something came up and I had ZERO time to write ANYTHING. I will still fill you in on my weekend plans just not today
So let’s go to plan B here. Who else is excited for Valentine’s Day? Now that I’m married, and maybe I’m just getting sappier with my old age but, I have really started to embrace this “holiday.” Maybe it’s because it’s a good excuse to have a fancy dinner on a week night or maybe it’s because it forces you to relax and sit down with a cup of tea and chit chat with your loved (rather than frantically writing a blog post all while watching Modern Family and cleaning up dinner and making lunches for the next day). Whatever the case may be, I’m excited to have something to look forward to in the middle of dark, dreary, and rainy February.
So not only am I getting in to the Valentine’s Day spirit at home, I have also brought a little bit of the peace, love, and joy to the workplace. Remember this dresser I painted last Fall?
Well it got a seasonal face lift.
It’s bold, it’s pink, and it’s kind of outrageous but it’s Valentine’s Day! I mean what other time of the year can you wear red, pink, and purple all at the same time?! And if the painted drawers aren’t enough already, I made this banner using Benjamin Moore colour chips in shades of red, pink, and purple.
And in case you’re curious, here are the Benjamin Moore colours I used to paint the drawers.
I hope to be back on here regularly very soon. I’ve got a lot to fill you in on so just be patient with me please :)

I love this!! So cute. And so vibrant!
It’s pretty darn vibrant compared to the last gradient effect I had. It’s hard not to miss this one when you drive by!
