The boudoir is finito! Let’s cut to the chase here and show you the before and after.
The space looked like a typical rental. The walls were plain and the curtains were basic and although I’m a simple girl I like my bedroom to be a little more dramatic and less dorm room looking.
But with a coat (or 3) of paint, new bedding, and new curtains this space has been transformed to a glamorous boudoir.
I always struggle with what to hang above the headboard. When my Oma moved out of her old house it was a free-for-all for a lot of her stuff. This old frame is one of many things I snagged. I tried hanging it against our beige wall but it did absolutely nothing for it just as I thought. But when we painted this bold colour of Summer Plum I knew I finally had a spot to showcase it.
Not a bad looking bedroom for a grand total of $234, eh?
